optional prompts: what I want most for any of my daiya ships is quiet domestic moments and future fic; for any Miyuki ships, I like conflict resolution and working out differences and boundaries. I love AUs! AUs of all kinds! I also love seeing Tanba pushed outside his comfort zone in kind ways that help him grow. For my non-daiya fandoms... those I'd be more actively excited about smut, but quiet intimate downtime moments are good always.

I only just got into yakuza and I'm stupidly excited about it so if anyone in our tiny friend exchange knows it and just wants to leave me shouting or meta as a treat I will weep on you for five million years, I want to see more backstory/missing scenes for like, every Y0 plot-relevant character.

Also talk to me about Tanba always, my good sweet boy for whom I offer my heart.

yes, i headcanon tanba as the person who crochets lace doilies, they're delicate and airy and great gifts!!! tanba taking up crocheting as a hobby and finding joy in it actually makes me weepy??



meta: love live/chihayafuru, eli & chihaya (& chitose & alisa)

right! so i've been thinking about the ayase family crossover, and if i remember correctly, your saso prompt had eli as the older one trying to rein in chihaya but!! chihaya as an older cousin & eli as the younger one!?! i mean, chihaya's already a younger sibling so having a younger cousin she could potentially lead/guide, especially when eli & alisa are new to japan and its customs is something i find really sweet? and eli's an older sibling so having an older cousin with more experience (debatable?)!?! eli is so responsible and mature for her age compared to chihaya who is definitely more impulsive. legit, i spent a considerable amount of time thinking about eli being both exasperated and impressed by chihaya, both on her straightforward nature which leads her to barrel headfirst into things with less consideration than most and how that translates into chihaya striving for her dreams in a way eli was unable to re continuing ballet.

i honestly think there's a chance eli would be sharp (or maybe bitter) with chihaya, regardless of whoever's older. but she wouldn't mean it? just that chihaya's kinda like honoka personality-wise, and she gets envious ? also, i still get sad thinking about chihaya's slight inferiority complex in regards to the amount of attention chitose gets from her parents and how that sometimes feels like neglect, so throwing in another impressive relative to be compared to frequently makes me doubly sad. chihaya may never be student council president, is highly unlikely to get all As on her report cards and won't prioritise school over karuta but god, she is a Good and i will protect her with my life ;;;;

all that aside, scenarios include:
- eli learning karuta, chihaya smokes her but it's very good japanese practice
- eli teaching chihaya russian, does not go that well??
- both sets of sisters go out shopping together, somehow get entangled in paparazzi chase because they think they're models/idols
- actual model/idol au where they're a set pair for spreads/performances
- au where chihaya enters otonokizaka hs and tries to start the karuta club, continually butts heads with student council president eli
- if chihaya was exceptional at ballet and eli had to deal with competing against that
- chihaya is the young miss of her clan, eli as an older side branch relative is responsible for raising/training her
- during a trip, suitcases are accidentally swapped and eli wears daddy bear merch for a week. chihaya gets by in trendy outfits

ok, i'll stop here for now. i'm not sure if i've really covered the nuances of their potential relationship, and would be super interested in your thoughts besides. i feel like i've come across your writing so many times even before i met you in saso. and i never said anything then, so let me say now that i truly love the places you take your characters!! not only in the xeno you've written yourself, but the prompts you've made that have lead to more xeno works. your writing feels solid and present to me and it's a joy to see your brainstorming on the tl. thanks so much for this year and happy holidays lira!!!!
